OMAHA, Neb. -- The Creighton men's soccer team is ranked 19th in this week's United Soccer Coaches Poll, the organization released on Tuesday, Oct. 23.
The Bluejays moved to 9-3-2 overall and 5-0-1 in BIG EAST play following an 0-1-1 mark last week with a loss 1-0 at Akron on Tuesday and a 0-0 draw against Providence on Saturday night at Morrison Stadium. The squad dropped 11 spots in the coaches' poll after last week's top-10 ranking.
Creighton is led offensively by Sven Koenig who leads the BIG EAST with seven goals, while Akeem Ward paces the Bluejays with four assists.
