OMAHA, Neb. -- The Creighton men's soccer team scored three second-half goals to down Butler, 4-2, on Wednesday afternoon at Morrison Stadium and picked up three points in the BIG EAST Midwest Division standings.
The Bluejays improved to 3-1-0 in league action and moved into the top of the division standings with nine points, while the Bulldogs dropped to 1-1-2 during conference play (five points, fourth place).
Diego Gutierrez scored a goal during each half and added an assist on Creighton's first goal of the second half to tally five points during his second game at Morrison Stadium in a Bluejay uniform.
