Omaha, Neb. -- The Creighton Men's Soccer kicked off the 2022 season with a 5-2 victory over Drake in the first exhibition contest for both teams on Friday, Aug. 12.
The Bluejays took control early with three goals in the first 13 minutes of action, powered by a trio of assists from senior Dominic Briggs. Newcomer Alfie Pope lead all attackers with two goals, while the remaining three goals came from junior Duncan McGuire and sophomores Owen O'Malley as well as Mark O'Neil.
Creighton limited Drake to two shots in the opening half.
