OMAHA, Neb. -- The Creighton men's soccer team stretched its unbeaten streak to six and kept its season alive with a 2-1 victory over No. 16 Providence on Wednesday, Nov. 3 at Morrison Stadium.
With the win, Creighton (8-6-2, 5-4-1 BIG EAST) will be the No. 4 seed and host Villanova on Saturday at 6 p.m. Central in the quarterfinals of the 2021 BIG EAST Championship presented by JEEP. Providence, which learned it was locked into the No. 2 seed a first round bye before taking the field for the second half, is now 9-3-4, 5-2-3 BIG EAST).
