MADISON, Ill. -- The Creighton men's golf team tied for sixth place at the SIUE Derek Dolenc Invitational, which concluded Tuesday in Madison, Ill.
Senior Andrew McCormick was Creighton top finisher with an overall score of 220 to tie for 32ndplace. The Colorado native posted his second below par score of the season with a 69 to open the tournament. He shot an 80 in the second round before shooting a 71 in the final round to end the event.
Nate Vontz compiled an 74.3 scoring average to make a slight improvement from last week's tournament.
