MANHATTAN, Kan. -- Grant Feldman tied for second place to lead the Creighton men's golf team to a fourth-place finish at the Wildcat Invitational on Tuesday in Manhattan, Kan. The tournament was the first of the 2024-25 season for the Bluejays.
A junior from Austin, Texas, Feldman opened the season with a 3-under 69, then followed it with back-to-back rounds of an even-par 72 to score a 213. Feldman now owns 17 rounds of par or better in 30 loops since the start of last season. Feldman's performance left him tied for second with Kansas State's Cooper Schultz (76-73-64) and were eight shots behind medalist Nick Mason (65-71-69=205) of Kansas State.
