OKATIE, S.C. -- The Creighton men's golf team is in third place heading into Sunday's final round of the 2019 BIG EAST Championship, presented by Jeep.
Coming off a ninth place finish last spring, Creighton turned heads on Friday with a 298 total that left the Bluejays with the first round lead. CU followed that up with a 301 effort on Saturday, but it wasn't enough to keep from being passed by No. 43 Marquette (288) and DePaul (296) on Saturday. The Golden Eagles own a six shot lead over DePaul and an eight shot advantage over the Bluejays heading into Sunday's final 18 holes.
