OMAHA, Neb. -- Incoming Creighton men's basketball freshman Arthur Kaluma will play for Uganda next week in an AfroBasket 2021 qualifier. The AfroBasket 2021 qualifier helps decide the teams for the 2021 FIBA Africa Championship, which takes place from August 24 - September 5 in Kigali, Rwanda.
Uganda visits Morocco at 1 p.m. Central on Thursday, July 8, in a game that will air on ESPN+ as well as http://LiveBasketball.tv. Uganda can qualify for the 2021 FIBA Africa Championship with a win vs. either Morocco (July 8), while a loss would lead to Uganda visiting Cape Verde for a game on July 15 for the final spot in the field.
