NEW YORK, N.Y. – For the first time since joining the BIG EAST 10 years ago, Creighton men's basketball had three men named All-Conference. Junior center Ryan Kalkbrenner was named All-BIG EAST First Team while senior guard Baylor Scheierman and sophomore guard Trey Alexander earned Honorable Mention accolades.
Connecticut forward Adama Sanogo was the lone repeat selection on the All-BIG EAST First Team. The league's head coaches select the all-conference squads and were not permitted to vote for their own players. Joining Kalkbrenner and Sanogo on the All-BIG EAST First Team were: Jordan Hawkins of UConn, Tyler Kolek of Marquette, Bryce Hopkins of Providence and Souley Boum of Xavier.
