OMAHA, Neb. — For the second-consecutive game, the Creighton men's basketball team never trailed—this time in a 90-65 rout of IUPUI, improving to 5-1 at home on the season.
Khryi Thomas, who finished with 13 points and eight rebounds, started things off with a layup on Creighton's first possession, and the Bluejays (7-3) never looked back.
Spurred by blistering 63 percent shooting to start the game, Creighton jumped out to a 26-12 lead midway through the first half, assisting on seven of its first 10 field goals. In lockstep with the Bluejays' hot shooting, Creighton's defense limited the Jaguars (3-9) to just four makes on their first 18 field goal attempts.
