The most crucial recruiting week of the offseason continues to trend in a positive direction for the Creighton men’s basketball program. Two days after former Georgia State signee Jalen Windham committed and signed to play for the Bluejays, Memphis transfer Antwann Jones announced that he would be joining the team for the upcoming 2019-20 season.
Jones, a 6-foot-6 guard, will have three years of eligibility remaining once he completes a redshirt season next year. As a consensus four-star prospect, Jones was rated just outside the top 100 for incoming 2018 freshman by both 247sports and Rivals.com.
He played in 35 of a possible 36 games in his first year at Memphis, including six starts.
