LIBERTYVILLE, Ill. -- Freshman Katharine Marshall tied for 13th place to lead the Creighton women's golf team to an 11th-place finish on Tuesday at the Loyola Parkinson Family Invitational in Libertyville, Ill. The tournament was the fourth and final fall event for the Bluejays.
Marshall shot rounds of 82, 73 and 78 for a 233 total as the freshman from Elburn, Ill., posted her first top-20 finish at the collegiate level.
CU's second-best performer was junior Eleanor Hudepohl. The Cincinnati native rebounded from rounds of 79 and 86 on Monday to close with a 78 on Tuesday.
