OMAHA, Neb. -- had 28 points on 10-of-11 shooting to lead the Creighton women's basketball team to a 71-68 win over visiting Marquette on Wednesday night.
Creighton improved to 13-3 with the victory and is 5-0 in BIG EAST play for the second time in program history (also 2021-22). Marquette slipped to 10-5 on the season and is 2-2 in league action.
Creighton built itself a 37-26 halftime lead after getting hot from beyond the arc late in the second quarter. and Maly both made consecutive three-pointers, and made it five triples in a four-minute span when she buried a corner trey to cap a 17-8 run to close the half.
