Omaha, Neb. -- After leading Creighton women's basketball to a 2-0 week with a combined 51 points, senior Morgan Maly collected the BIG EAST Player of the Week on Monday, January 13.
Maly guided Creighton to a 71-68 win over Marquette on January 8 with a dominant 28 points on 10-of-11 from the field. She connected on 8-of-9 from long range against the Golden Eagles. Three days later in New Jersey the script was largely the same as Maly delivered 23 points in the Bluejays' 72-64 road win at Seton Hall. Against the Pirates Maly shined in the biggest moment.
