CHICAGO -- Milton Doyle scored 17 points with eight assists and grabbed eight rebounds as Loyola of Chicago edged Creighton 68-65 on Saturday.
Devon Turk added 15 points for the Ramblers (5-3). Tyson Smith scored 11 points and Donte Ingram had 10.
A pair of 3-pointers by Smith late in the first period gave the Ramblers a 27-13 advantage with 4:10 to go in the half and they led 29-25 at the break.
Creighton, winless in two road games this season, trailed by as many as 11 points with 7:55 to go in the second period but closed the gap to 67-65 after two layups by Geoffrey Groselle in the final 14 seconds.
