MANHATTAN, Kan. -- Kansas State hit four homers in a 7-5 victory to snap Creighton Baseball's four-game winning streak on Tuesday night at Tointon Stadium in Manhattan, Kan.
The Wildcats, coming off a 7-2 win over No. 6 Oklahoma State on Sunday, improved to 11-3 at home and 15-13 overall. Creighton lost for just the second time in 14 games to drop to 15-8 on the season. It was the first meeting since 2018 in Manhattan, and 99th match-up overall between the regional rivals.
Kansas State wasted no time taking an early lead, starting the game with back-to-back singles before Omaha native Dylan Phillips hit his program-record 40th career home run to make it 3-0 after the first inning.
