Omaha, Neb. -- In the midst of a 0-0 battle in the 88th minute, sophomore goalkeeper McKenzie Meola's stop of a penalty kick changed the fortunes of both Creighton and Villanova in one dive as the Bluejays went on to defeat the Wildcats 1-0 on Sunday, Oct. 15.

The win lifted Creighton to 3-9-3 on the season and 1-3-2 in BIG EAST play, while Villanova fell to 6-9-0 overall and 2-4-0 in conference action.

After Creighton freshman Haylee Blach was whistled for a foul in the box with 2:10 remaining, Villanova sent senior Emily Kuefler out for the penalty kick.
