The Creighton Bluejays (15-6, 8-2) and their last ten regular season games, the return games for every double round-robin series they have this season in Big East play, starts with a matchup in Philadelphia against the Villanova Wildcats (12-9, 5-5). The Wildcats have been slumping recently, but have played well against Creighton in the past several years in part thanks to graduate forward Eric Dixon, who is consistently putting up big numbers against Creighton. Third-year head coach Kyle Neptune will look to spoil Creighton’s winning streak, while the Jays attempt to keep pace with Marquette and St. John’s in the Big East race.
