After a scoreless first half, Koenig tallied goals during the 59th and 71st minutes and gave Creighton a 2-0 lead.
The senior scored his first goal of the night after a pass from glanced off a Jacksonville defender and to the waiting feet of Koenig. He finished off the play with a pair of dribbles towards the center of the box and slotted the ball with his right foot inside the far post as Creighton gained a 1-0 lead.
