DENTON, TEXAS -- Kiele Miller recorded a no-hitter as the Creighton softball team shutout Arkansas-Pine Bluff, 9-0, and the Bluejays salvaged a split during a pair of games on Saturday at the Mean Green Classic. Creighton lost to host North Texas, 7-3, during the Bluejays' first game of the day.
Creighton ended its stay at the Mean Green Classic with a 3-1 mark and improved its overall record to 4-5.
Miller tied a career-high with 12 strikeouts and needed only 72 pitches for the five-inning no-hitter performance.
