OMAHA, Neb. -- Creighton sophomore Katherine Lemke will head to Gardens, Fla., to compete in the NCAA Regionals, it was announced on Wednesday on The Golf Channel during the NCAA Women's Golf Selection Show. Lemke is one of 36 individuals selected to the field, with six women being sent to each of six different Regional sites.
Lemke's competition will take place at PGA National Resort Palm Beach in Gardens, Fla., from May 8-10. Seventy-two teams and 36 individuals qualified for the postseason.
Lemke earned her spot in the NCAA Regionals by virtue of winning the BIG EAST Championship on April 19th, becoming the first women's golfer in league history to win back-to-back league titles.
