OMAHA, Neb. -- Creighton freshman Katherine Lemke will head to Ann Arbor to compete in the NCAA Regionals, it was announced on Wednesday on The Golf Channel during the NCAA Women's Golf Selection Show. Lemke is one of 36 individuals selected to the field, with six women being sent to each of six different Regional sites.
Lemke's competition will take place at University of Michigan Golf Course in Ann Arbor, Mich.
Lemke earned her spot in the NCAA Regionals by virtue of winning a playoff at the BIG EAST Championship on April 23rd, becoming Creighton's first BIG EAST individual champion in any sport when she rolled in a 20-foot putt on the first playoff hole.
