With non-conference play now over, the Creighton Bluejays hosted the St. John's Red Storm in a pivotal Big East Matchup. The 8-5 Bluejays were looking for their second straight conference win while the Red Storm were looking to add onto their six game win streak. It was a very close defensively strong contest, but the Bluejays were able to scrape by with a 57-56 win.
“When you get a few of these games under your belt, it’s a huge confidence booster,” senior Ryan Kalkbrenner said. “You don’t have to be at the top of your game to win games.
