ORLANDO, Fla. -- Creighton's Eleanor Hudepohl overcame a two-stroke deficit on the back nine of the final round to win the Motor City Classic on Tuesday in Orlando, Fla. Hudepohl's one-stroke victory helped the Bluejay women's golf team to a second place finish in the team's first tournament of the spring.
A sophomore from Cincinnati, Ohio, Hudepohl had a three-round total of 223 to top the field of 36 golfers. She opened with a 1-under 71 on Sunday and followed it with a 78 in the second round to fall into a tie for third place, before a closing 74.
