SPRINGFIELD, Mo. -- Eleanor Hudepohl tied Creighton's 54-hole record with a 3-under 213 to help lead a young Creighton women's golf team to a tie for eighth place at the season-opening MSU/Payne Stewart Memorial on Tuesday.
Hudepohl shot rounds of 71, 69 and 73 for a 213 aggregate. Her first two rounds on Monday made her the first Bluejay woman ever to shoot multiple under par rounds in the same day, and her second round score made her just the third female in team history to finish a round in the 60s. Hudepohl's 213 total matched Katherine Lemke school-record for a 54-hole event, which Lemke accomplished en route to the 2022 BIG EAST Championship.
