Omaha, Neb. --- In Creighton's 250th game at the CenturyLink Center, Marcus Foster's 21 first half points led No. 25 Creighton to a 85-74 win over Butler on Tuesday, Jan. 9th.
The Bluejays' fourth straight win moved Creighton to 14-3 (3-1 Big East) on the season, while Butler fell to 12-5 overall and 2-2 in conference action.
Both teams came out shooting the ball well, and neither side were able to create much breathing room with Creighton holding a 19-18 edge going into the second media timeout. Coming out of the break, however, the Bluejays kicked into gear.
