When I signed with Creighton to play volleyball, I had sky-high expectations for myself.
Not only was I going to succeed on the court playing for an amazing DI program, I was going to be a catalyst in elevating this program to milestones it has never reached before.
I had it all planned perfectly in my head.
Then reality hit.
I wasn’t seeing the court a lot, and I really had no idea of what my purpose was as a student-athlete.
I was a team captain on my high school volleyball teams and First Team All-State.
