OMAHA, Neb. -- Senior night provided a little extra kick for the Creighton Men's Basketball team as the Bluejays raced out to a 19-0 lead en route to a XX-XX win over Georgetown on Wednesday, March 1.
The win lifted the Bluejays to 19-11 on the season and 13-6 in BIG EAST action, while Georgetown dropped to 7-24 overall and 2-18 in conference games.
Creighton came out with a purpose from the opening possession, finding Ryan Kalkrbenner open for a dunk to ignite the Bluejays' 19-0 sprint. The Bluejay center delivered seven of Creighton's first 10 points, while senior Baylor Scheierman capped things off with the Bluejays' final six points.
