Omaha, Neb. -- Playing with a little extra motivation during the annual Pink Game, the Creighton Women's Basketball team raced out to a 24-5 lead after ten minutes and coasted to a 75-34 win over Georgetown on Saturday, February 18.
The victory lifted Creighton to 19-7 on the season and 13-5 in BIG EAST play, while Georgetown dropped to 12-15 overall and 5-13 in conference action.
The Bluejays scored the first 10 points of the contest, getting contributions from juniors Molly Mogensen (Farmington, Minn.), Morgan Maly (Crete, Neb.) and five points from senior Rachael Saunders (Iowa City, Iowa).
