Storrs, Conn. -- Trailing 7-0 with two down in the top of the fourth, Bluejay Baseball scored 10 runs over two frames as Creighton went on to take the series finale from Connecticut 14-9 on Sunday, May 12.
The win lifted the Bluejays to 32-16 on the season and 5-12 in BIG EAST action, while Connecticut fell to 29-21 and 14-4 in conference play.
Connecticut built its early edge behind a solo home run from Jake Studley in the second and a three-run blast by Matt Garbowski in the third. The Huskies plated six runs in the bottom of the third, all with two outs.
