In the Super Regional’s with Vanderbilt down 1-0 in the series against Duke, Kumar Rocker came out and threw a no-hitter against the Blue Devils, which eventually led to the Commodores to taking the series to get to the CWS. With their backs against the wall after losing game 1 of the CWS Championship Series on Monday night, Rocker again came through again as Vanderbilt took down Michigan 4-1, sending the series into Wednesday’s winner take all game.
Rocker pitched into the 7th inning, striking out 11, while closer Tyler Brown shut the Wolverines down, building up to Wednesday’s final game.
