The Hawkeyes (24-7) are led by the nation’s leading scorer in junior center Megan Gustafson at 25.6 points per game. Iowa is coached by Lisa Bluder, who in her 18th season at Iowa has amassed a 353-202 record for the Hawkeyes and a total record of 710-343 in her career. This will be Iowa’s 12 tournament appearance in those 18 seasons under Bluder.

“We have a great relationship with the Iowa staff, and we’ve scrimmaged them every year for the last seven or eight years,” coach Jim Flanery said. “They have a tremendous post-player in Megan Gustafson, who is one of the best players in the country, led the country in scoring, was in the top five in rebounding … They had some injuries, they aren’t a deep team but they can score the ball, they can go up and down for a team that doesn’t have a lot of depth.
