OMAHA, Neb. -- The Creighton softball team recorded a doubleheader sweep against Seton Hall on Friday afternoon at the Creighton Sports Complex. The Bluejays defeated the Pirates 9-4 in the opening game and 5-2 in the second contest.
Creighton improved to 9-7 overall and 5-3 in BIG EAST action, while the Pirates fell to 6-14 overall and 2-5 during league play.
Sophomore Kailey Wilson finished the day 5-for-6 with five RBIs, three runs scored and two home runs to lead the Bluejay offense. She moved her season batting average to .423 (22 hits) and pushed her team-leading home run and RBI totals to six and 18, respectively.
