OMAHA, Neb. -- On a night where 17,924 fans sold out CenturyLink Center Omaha to watch their beloved Creighton Bluejays host Seton Hall in a key BIG EAST battle, it was the scene before, during and after last Saturday's basketball game that many will long remember.
Thanks to CHI Health and Methodist Hospital, the program's annual Creighton vs. Cancer Pink Out was a rousing success off the court. The hospitals teamed up to sponsor the event, and the 16,000 pink t-shirts that were handed out at the door. Creighton's players wore specially-designed warm-ups and jerseys with pink trim that were customized to honor a friend or family member of a booster who has battled or is currently battled cancer.
