Creighton kept their 2016-17 home record unblemished on Tuesday night as they pulled away midway through the second half to beat Villanova in front of crowd of 707 people at D.J. Sokol Arena that included Big East commissioner Val Ackerman.

Senior guard Marissa Janning dropped a double-double for the fourth time in her career, and second time this season, as she led all players with 18 points — passing former Bluejay star Christy Neneman for fourth place on Creighton’s all-time scoring chart in the process — to go along with 10 rebounds in 38 minutes of action.
