The leaves are falling, the air is crisp, and the runners are primed for the start of championship season. As autumn settles in, so do the athletes of the Big East, each racing toward victory in the Cross Country Championships at Morven Park.
For Creighton’s men’s and women’s teams, the championship represented both a challenge and an opportunity to compete against some of the best in the nation. With powerhouses like No. 9 Georgetown and No. 12 Providence on the men’s side, and No. 17 Villanova and No. 21 Georgetown for the women, the stage was set for a grueling test of endurance and strategy.
