Three goals, three points, and a shutout set the tone for Creighton women’s soccer in their home opener at Morrison Stadium. The Jays secured a commanding 3-0 victory over Western Michigan, fueled by standout performances from Ariana Mondiri, Marissa LeVine, and Azumi Manriki.
“Really pleased with the first [home game],” head coach Jimmy Walker said. “You look at the game, we won three-nil, two brilliant moments, attacking-wise, where we scored two excellent goals, and a couple of good saves, and just managed out the game which was important for us.”
As soon as the whistle blew, the Bluejays sprang into action, seizing an early advantage.
