Defending the home field is one of the most essential parts of being a successful team. In the early part of the season, the Creighton Bluejays baseball team has been able to do just that. After winning their first four home games of the season, the Bluejays hosted the Saint Mary's Gaels for a three-game series this past weekend. The Bluejays continued winning at home in this series, beating the Gaels two out of three games to improve their record to 13-6 overall. A frozen field Friday forced the series to have the first game on Saturday followed by a double-header on Sunday.
