After a dominating victory for the Bluejays on Nebraska’s home turf last year, the metaphorical ‘trophy’ of the state’s undisputed top team was placed firmly in the hands of Omaha and the Bluejay faithful.
On Nov. 22, the Cornhuskers arrived at CHI Health Center ready to challenge the Bluejays for this year’s title as Nebraska’s dominant team.
With a solid game plan executed to near-perfection and the ability to stifle one of the best centers in all of college basketball, the Huskers entered the No. 14 Bluejays’ territory with a 3-1 record and walked away with a 74-63 victory and this year’s ‘trophy’ for dominance in the state.
