SPRINGFIELD, Mo. – The Creighton men's golf team placed seventh at the Twin Oaks Intercollegiate on Tuesday, March 22. The Bluejays finished with a 902 (303+300+299) during the two-day event at the Twin Oaks Country Club.
Central Arkansas earned the team championship and shot an 874 (291+295+288). Host Missouri State finished runner-up and stroked an 881 (292+290+299) and Valparaiso placed third after shooting an 892 (286+302+304) on the par-71 course that measured 6,701 yards.
Luis Obiols led Central Arkansas and claimed the individual crown with a 2-over par 215 (69+71+75). Missouri State's Joey Johnson (71+73+72=216) and Valparaiso's Peter Webb (71+72+73=216) each finished a stroke behind Obiols and tied for runner-up.
