Omaha, Neb. -- Freshman Clark Brinkman's three-run triple in the fourth to take the lead sent shockwaves through the Creighton Baseball dugout as the Bluejays went on to down #14 St. John's 7-4 on Saturday, April 8.
Creighton evened the series with the Red Storm, moving to 9-16 on the season and 1-1 in BIG EAST play, while St. John's fell to 22-4 overall and 1-1 in conference action.
Trailing 2-0 after the Red Storm pushed two across in the opening frame, senior Riley Landuyt sparked the Bluejay offense in the fourth after getting hit by a pitch.
