Lawrence, Kan. -- The Creighton rowing team delivered a strong performance in the Varisty 8+ race, taking second place of 13 boats at the Kansas Invitational on Saturday, Oct. 23.
The Bluejays top varsity 8+ squad bested teams from Iowa, Kansas State and Kansas with a time of 18:12.047.
Creighton returns to action on Saturday, November 6 at Drake in a duel regatta set to begin at 9 am.
