OMAHA, Neb. – Locked in a fantastic 2-2 battle in the final three minute of the match after rallying from a 2-0 deficit, the Creighton women's soccer team suffered a heartbreaking 3-2 loss to St. John's on Thursday, Oct. 5 inside Morrison Stadium. The Red Storm netted the game-winning goal on a looping header from Angelina Scoma with just over two minutes remaining in the match.
The loss dropped the Bluejays to 2-7-4 on the season and to 0-5-0 in the BIG EAST, while St. John's moved to 7-4-2 overall and 2-3-0 in league action.
