Omaha, Neb. -- In a year filled with high expectations, Creighton women's basketball head coach Jim Flanery is injecting some fun in the 2016-17 non-conference schedule as the Bluejays will head to the Bahamas over the Thanksgiving holidays.
The Bluejays open with a home exhibition contest against Fort Hays State on Nov. 3, but the regular season begins with back-to-back road contests. The Bluejays head to South Dakota State (Nov. 11), then return to a familiar road facing former MVC rival Wichita State in Kansas on Nov. 13.
