Omaha, Neb. -- In a midweek tussle that saw 19 different pitchers take the mound, Creighton Baseball outlasted North Dakota State 8-7 on Wednesday, April 3.
The win lifted Creighton to 22-4 on the season as the Bluejays collected their fifth consecutive victory, while North Dakota State fell to 7-17 in the first game for the Bison since March 24.
Creighton reliever picked up the win (1-0), allowing one run on three hits in 1.1 innings. closed the game out for his first save with a scoreless ninth. Bison reliever Julien Hachem took the loss (4-1), allowing two runs on two hit and a walk in one inning of work.
