Omaha, Neb. -- The Creighton Baseball team clinched a spot in the BIG EAST Tournament with a 14-6 win over Butler on Sunday, May 15. The game was suspended in the bottom of the seventh on Saturday evening after inclement weather including lightning and rain set in.
Creighton victory elevating the Bluejays to 27-16 on the season and 12-5 in BIG EAST action, while Butler fell to 18-32-1 overall and 2-14-1 in conference action.
The Bluejays and Bulldogs will conclude the three-game series at 12:50 pm.
