Queens, N.Y. -- Creighton Baseball suffered a three game sweep at St. John's as the Bluejays fell 7-1 in the series finale on Saturday, May 4.
The loss moved to 31-14 on the season and 4-10 in BIG EAST action, while St. John's moved to 31-11-1 overall and 11-4 in conference play.
St. John's starter Mario Pesca earned the win (5-1) with seven innings of one run ball, limiting the Bluejays to two hits and notching seven strikeouts. Creighton starter Shea Wendt took the loss (1-1), allowing three runs on two hits and four walks in three innings.
