OMAHA, Neb. -- A late rally by the Creighton Baseball team came up just short as the Bluejays dropped a 5-3 decision to Omaha on Tuesday, May 10, inside Charles Schwab Field Omaha.
Omaha improved to 22-24 on the season with the victory, while Creighton dropped to 25-13 with its fifth consecutive setback.
A trio of former Bluejays helped Omaha score the first two runs of the game. In the fifth inning, Jack Lombardi doubled and came around to score the game's first run when Cam Frederick singled to left. One inning later Will Hanafan singled to plate Eddie Satisky for the second run.
