Baseball Falls at Charleston, 18-6

Charleston, S.C. -- Creighton Baseball fell to Charleston 18-6 on Saturday, March 1. The Cougars pushed across at least two runs in each inning except the first, plating eight in the final two at-bats

The loss evened the series with the Cougars as well as Creighton's seasons mark at 4-4. Charleston climbed to 7-3 overall.

Creighton took a 2-0 lead in the second, getting a sacrifice fly from and an RBI single from . Charleston answer with two in the second, then got three in the third to claim a 5-2 edge.

Duffalo delivered his first home run as a Bluejay, a solo shot to left, but the Cougars added two in both the fourth and the fifth to build a 9-3 edge.
