Omaha, Neb. -- Forced to try to play a doubleheader today, Creighton Baseball dropped the series opening game to Georgetown by a 10-2 score on Saturday, April 27. The second game was suspended in the bottom of the eighth with the Bluejays trailing 3-2.
The loss moved the Bluejays to 30-10 overall and 4-6 in BIG EAST action, while Georgetown moved to 28-13 on the season and 9-4 in conference play.
The Hoyas jumped out to a 2-0 lead with solo home runs from Christian Ficca in the first and Owen Carapellotti in the second.
